The party is actual on a Paddle Wheel Boat, 3 levels (2 indoor and 1 outdoor) Everyone dresses up and has a great time! I love this party one cause its on the east river so I get to tour all those pretty NYC sites plus party, OH YEAHHH! and secondly the Ticket price are only $20 and the drink prices are reasonable. If you have any questions on anything in this post please feel free to comment below and ask :)
"Lollipops and Pretzels"
These were done by myself and my close friend Adriana. We went to Michael's Art & Craft Store and purchased all the items needed to achieve our goodies. Now these were a little time consuming but very fun to do especially if you are working on them with friends. Also it may get messy but what's FUN if your not getting dirty!
Ingredients Needed: Pretzel Rods, Candy Melts, Cellophane Bags, Ribbons, Lollipop Sticks, and mold trays (your choice) I've included some pictures of some of the ingredients we used. To get a tutorial on how to do these and many more fun candy I went to the Wilton Website for help. For those who are interested please visit http://www.wilton.com/candy/making-candy/ for step by step instruction.
"Rock Star Cupcakes"
These cupcakes were made by me and honestly all I used was cake mix in a box, nothing fancy. As far as the frosting I did purchase Wilton Icing Color to get that nice baby blue for decorations. Now next on the list was the cupcake wrappers. After countless of nights searching the Internet for a Rock Star theme wrapper and coming up empty handed I decided why not make my own, how hard can it be?? Well as long as you are digitally savvy and a Graphic Designer as me its possible if not you can contact me and I would be more than happy to create you your own personal wrappers at a low cost.
Anyways if you are digitally savvy contact me and I would be more than happy to email you the PDF template needed to create these. I also purchased Decorative Scissors to cut the top edges to give it a more exciting look. We also was able to find Rock Star Cupcake Rings at Birthday Direct another online party store we love to place on top of the cupcakes for decorations.
For the final look I purchased a Cupcake tower which we decorated as seen in the picture and there you go as SIMPLE as that we made our own 100 Cupcake Tower for less than $60* (*price depends on your purchased could be more or less)
"Rock Star Cake & Baby Carriage Watermelon Fruit Bowl"
Now the last two goodies for the Baby Shower were not created by me but I must post about them because they were so creative and awesome. The cake was created for me by my good friend Marle who has her own Cake making business from home and the Watermelon Fruit Bowl was created by a young lady named Rebecca who also has her own business from home. So many people now are doing such great things and making money from their home. Kudos to them!!
If anyone is interested in Cakes or anything in the baking department follow Marleny on instagram @marlescake. As far as the Baby Carriage Watermelon Fruit Bowl please contact me for their contact information.
So I hope you enjoyed today's post and that I helped you stir up your creative side in making goodies for your next event or just at home! Once again your feedback is very appreciated so don't be shy to leave comments :)
Stay tuned for future post and if you have any questions ask away.
Have a good day and remember to be Creative!!

RockStar Baby Shower Party Favors
One of my favorite events I had the pleasure of designing was my very own Baby Shower. I was having a boy so we decided on doing a Rock Star theme especially since his father is very into Rock!
Many of the ideas were of my own and others I found online through Pinterest. Other Decorations we ordered from Oriental Trading Co. One of my favorite sites to purchase from since they are so inexpensive.
Throughout this post I will be sure to go into details how we did certain things and what stores and websites we used. You don't have to use the same places but if you do come across a better place or site please tag me as I am always looking to try new things. :)
In this post I will start off with the Party Favors. So be on the lookout for other post pertaining to the Baby Shower for decoration ideas and more!
To thank our guest for celebrating such an important time in our life we decided to give out two different party favors and also kids party pack.
Party Favor #1: Mini Scented candles
(less than $2)
The candles we purchased in bulk at The Deal Store around my neighborhood for a $1 each. I designed the label and had them printed in a local print company 4over4.com. We than purchased the Ribbon on Ebay.com and a local party store. Once all the supplies were in with a glue gun and time we made about 80 Candle party favors.
Party Favor # 2: Take out Boxes filled with M&Ms (about $1 each)
These Party Favors were so inexpensive and easy to do. We ordered the Mini Chinese take out boxes which were on sale at Oriental Trading and the Cellophane baggies. We purchased the candies Peanut and Plain M&M at Costcos. We used any labels that were leftover to label the box. We also purchased from Ebay.com "It's a boy" ribbon to tie the baggies closed.
Kids Party Pack
(around $2.60 each)
We decided to create a kids party pack since we had at least 20 kids coming to the party and as we all know kids need entertainment or they will drive their parents wild, lol. Everything in this pack was purchased at Orientaltrading.com. In this pack we included Candies, Temporary Tattoos, Silly bands, and Bubbles all of coarse representing anything that had to with Rock!
So that's it for this post.. your feedback is very appreciated so don't be shy to leave comments :)
Stay tuned for future post and if you have any questions ask away.
